Hot Spot Program

In partnership with the Austin Public Library and the Blandin Foundation, Austin Aspires has limited hot spots available for checkout to students and/or families. These hotspots are available on a first come, first serve basis, and will be checked out for up to one year.

Steps to Check Out a Hotspot

Step One

  • Get a hotspot registration form

    • Scan/Click QR code Below

    • Stop into Austin Aspires office at 301 N Main St Suite 104

    • Have your middle/high school student get form from school navigator

Step Three

  • Submit completed Austin Aspires registration form to Austin Aspires by either

    • ​Scan or take a picure and email to    director@austinaspires.org

    • Give to the Navigator at your students location (if applicable) ​​

    • ​Drop off to our office at 318 N Main St

Step Two

  • Complete the  registration form

    • ​Over the phone

    • In the Austin Aspires Office at 318 N Main St​​

    • By a responsible adult in the home

Step Four

  • An Aspires staff member or Navigator will get ahold of you once the application is processed for pick up. 

  • It can be picked up in office or sent home with your student from our Navigators.

No, These hotspots are available through grant dollars from the Minnesota Department of Education and the Blandin Broadband Communities grant.
